STRICKLAND [BLOG]
Thursday September 2nd
And...ouch. Last night made this morning painful. But I slept awesome. Just sayin'. Anyway, happy Tuesday! Thanks to all that came and partied with NOW FM and Chris Willis and Dublin Square and to those that joined us for the after party at P.T. O'Malley's with Finding Clyde. Both, definitely good times. Oh and I scored sweet new Ray Bans, thanks to Rick at Sunny Shades. That dude gave away thousands of dollars worth of shades and hats and belt buckles from Sunny Shades and Waistland. Anyhoo, back to now... 3?Q:
1. How many miles is a marathon foot race?
26 MILES
2. How many planets in our solar system have no moon?
2 (MERCURY & VENUS)
3. Judy Garland had two daughters in the entertainment business. Can you name them?

Welcome back students, and to those coming to the area for the first time, welcome...um...for the first time! Just a quick intro... If you're looking for the freshest hit music in mid-Michigan, 97.5 NOW FM is where you'll find it. If you're looking for indie rock, we've got that too! If you're looking for insane parties at the area's hottest clubs, we've got them! If you're looking for exclusive opportunities, we've got those too. If you're looking for access to the best concerts, we'll hook it up for you. If you're looking for freaking sweet free stuff, we always have that. And so on, and so on...
But seriously, 97.5 NOW FM is, without question, the best station in mid-Michigan; the most fun and the best music. Oh, and we're everywhere! Even if you're one of those peeps that likes to stay at home, we're STILL up in your business; find us on Facebook, Twitter and Myspace! Okay, so, my name is Josh Strickland and I hold down the early shift. So, while you're headed to your 8am class in your PJ's with a hangover from last night's debauchery (most of which you don't remember)... it will be my pleasure to wake up with you and join you on your walk...or bike ride...or bus ride...or drive. Ooorrrr, if you don't have an 8am class, but you work out at 7:30... I'm right there with you. Actually, I usually roll in around 6am. ...which is about the time some of you will be going to bed.
Alright... I think we're introduced enough. Hit me up!

Thursday August 26th
Back from vacation! I definitely enjoyed it! Lol. Anyway, I've been pulling triple time this week -- hustling. Em Jay DoublePlay has been a blast this week, and you still have the chance to win! Listen! But the Welcome Week party kicks off this weekend. I'll be at MSUFCU on Sunday -- look for me. And don't miss the 97.5 NOW FM Welcome Week Street Party with Chris Willis next Wednesday night after the first day of classes! We're at the corner of M.A.C. and Albert and it's going to be insane. As for today... I still have to give props to Elizabeth on the 3 Question Quiz, even tho she didn't win. She went first and got 2 out of 3 out of the gate, and everyone else bailed. Here are the EASY Q&As from today!

Friday August 13th
Okay, maybe we should just assume that I'll update this thing once a week. Maybe twice, in a good week. Happy Friday the 13th, my friends! Tonight the very funny Marc Unger is at Connxtions Comedy Club and, unfortunately, neither of us had the secret password this morning. I blame Friday the 13th. The password is "laugh out loud." You know the drill! www.connxtionscomedyclub.com - go get your tickets!

Pure insanity this morning over Justin Bieber in downtown Lansing. Finally this afternoon the tickets were located. Can we talk about the weather now? OH -- speaking of... I am on vacation next week. Alabama will fill in and on MONDAY she will announce a winner for the trip to New York City with Miranda Cosgrove and NBC's Today Show! Have a stellar weekend/week. I'll be spotty on Facebook for the next few days, just fyi! Leave me really cool messages of love to come back to. Much love to you...
Friday August 6th

We took my son to the doctor yesterday and found out that HE now has "early pneumonia." This kid has had more serious respiratory issues in his first year and a half of life than I have in my ENTIRE life.

Deleted all previous entries. Don't worry, they weren't anything special. But starting today, my blog IS something special. Lol. It's actual communication -- a more long form than Facebook or Twitter allows, so, if you're my friend or you're following me, you will likely often see expanded stories pertaining to social networking posts, information, and of course, exclusive opportunities to win ish, right here. So, welcome to my new blog -- day 1.
